After many years of software, including experiences in Silicon Valley, he graduated in 2014 a master&#8217;s degree in anthropology and embarked on a new career as a commercial and documentary photographer, with his work gracing the pages of prestigious publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times or The Guardian.<\/span><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">Adrian has been a compelling and committed storyteller, his long term projects covering coal mining, floods, human traficking or refugees. His 2020 portrait of a child who survived heart surgery earned him an Award of Excellence at Picture of the Year Intl. Beyond photography, he delved into filmmaking, with his debut documentary, &#8220;My Socialist Home,&#8221; premiering in London in 2021.<br \/>\nIn 2021, Adrian completed a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology, exploring human- animal relationships in Burkina Faso. In the past years, he gradually departed from documentary towards conceptual, exploring unconventional ways of telling stories such as multi-spectral imagery.
