His artistic practice included painting, collage, drawing, objects, and installation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1682\">Beginning in the 1960s, Bitzan developed a distinctive artistic language close to conceptual and experimental practices, exploring the relationship between sign, text, image, and object. His works reflect an interest in symbolic structures, visual systems, and the idea of the archive or document.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1977\">Bitzan studied at the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">University of Fine Arts Bucharest<\/span><\/span>, where he later taught, influencing several generations of artists.
