Bogdan Rața is a sculptor, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design, West University of Timișoara, co-founder of Kunsthalle Bega, initiator of the Pavilion Library.

He had personal exhibitions at the Slag Gallery, New York; Farideh Cadot Gallery, Paris; The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucharest; Nasui Collection & Gallery, Bucharest; Calina Foundation, Timișoara; Le Castelet Toulouse.

He exhibited in curatorial projects at the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Independent Liverpool Biennale, 55th Venice Biennale, 10th Manifesta Sankt Petersburg and the 8th Bucharest Biennale.
