Dan Perjovschi

(b. 1961)

Lives in Bucharest and Sibiu. He addresses political and social themes in his drawings and texts, engaging with the independent art scene and consistently fostering dialogue with the public—whether through drawings that move beyond the comfortable space of art institutions or through debates in which he participates not only as an artist but also as an active member of civil society.

Dan Perjovschi’s works coexist on walls, in notebooks, on windows, or even on floors, most often in an ephemeral manner, created only to be later erased by the passage of time. With quick and incisive lines, the cognitive dissonances that have become omnipresent within the social, political, and economic context of our times are addressed with sharp humor and critique.
