Daniel Knorr addresses consumerism through large-scale installations and sculptures as well as through site-specific installations.

In order to “materialize concepts”, as the artist defines his approach, Knorr uses humor to emphasize important aspects of socio-political processes, while inviting viewers to detach themselves from their daily haughtiness.

Waiting for a New Wave is a work that reflects the arduous political transition of post-communist Romania, which has long remained in suspense in a changing cultural landscape, which has not been without generating many anomalies and absurd situations.
