Gyárfás Oláh
(b. 1975)
Artist and designer Oláh Gyárfás, studied at the Faculty of Art in Timisoara and first brought the Rozalb de Mura fashion brand to life. He was the creative force behind the Patzaikin brand, combining fashion and eco-technology. His work is marked by the interplay between subversion, art, fashion, design, sculpture, multiplicity, and identity. Oláh Gyárfás is interested in nature, the sculptural qualities of texture, and natural materials such as hemp and straw. Structured conceptually, his work is transfigured by emotion. Among his exhibitions and projects in recent years are: “Hemp – Back to the future”, World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan and National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Bucharest, Romanian Creative Week Iași 2025, “ My hand is your spoon.
