We invite you to the opening of feels like it stopped raining, a group exhibition curated by Diana Marincu and Mihai Toth. Bringing together ten artists, the exhibition explores states suspended between intimacy and exposure, presence and withdrawal, listening closely to the subtle transformations that shape our inner worlds.

The exhibition brings together the artists Dan Cebotari, Ciprian Ciobanu, Anca Adina Cojocaru, Gloria Grati, Imminent Detour / Andreea Samoilă, Lucian Indrei, Mirela Ivanciu, Raluca Micula, musz, and Szabó Anna-Mária,

curated by Diana Marincu & Mihai Toth,

on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM,

at ISHO Office 1, Timișoara.

The opening will be accompanied by a DJ set by Mini Zucchini, powered by Ploom.

The exhibition traces the emergence of a feeling in relation to a turn of events, a discovery, a found and rediscovered image, a simple sound, a tender gesture, or a form of consolation. Through subtle gestures, sensitive materials, and memory-laden images, the ten artists construct a space of fluid observation, where fragility appears not as weakness, but as a form of resistance.

Without proposing a singular theme or a linear narrative, feels like it stopped raining “listens” to those almost imperceptible transformations that occur when something shifts within us. The exhibition brings together artistic practices united by a shared sensitivity, exploring the space between intimacy and exposure, presence and withdrawal, communication and silence.

Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s concept of the infra-thin, the exhibition invites visitors to dwell, if only for a moment, in a suspended space where meaning emerges through sensation, intuition, and recognition rather than explanation.

The exhibition will be on view from June 19 to August 1, 2026, Thursday to Saturday, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

The exhibition is co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN).
