About the workshop:
Picasso and Open Forms 003 is a workshop conceived by Mihai Toth, part of a series of workshops dedicated to children aged 8–15, organized as part of the Picasso en visite exhibition at Art Encounters Foundation.
Starting from the way Picasso represented an object, a body, or an animal in motion, participants will explore the connection between movement, photography, and drawing.
In this format, children will create gestures and body positions in relation to the works in the exhibition and capture them in photographs. They will then use drawing to continue the images they have created, tracing a line, changing a shape, or combining fragments from several movements.
The workshop invites children to discover how a small gesture can become the starting point for a monumental image.
