On Tuesday, October 27, children aged 8 to 14 are invited to discover, together with Delia Marincu, the world of portraits Picasso created during his stay in Antibes after the Second World War.

How did Picasso portray the people closest to him? How realistic or abstract, enigmatic and full of meaning are his portraits?

On Tuesday, October 27, children aged 8 to 14 are invited to discover, together with Delia Marincu, the world of portraits Picasso created during his stay in Antibes after the Second World War.

From Françoise Gilot’s green hair to the portrait of his daughter, who resembles a doll, we will explore how Picasso played with shapes, colours and perspectives. During the workshop, children will experiment with shapes and colours to portray their loved ones and discover new ways of artistic expression through drawing and collage.

The workshop aims to stimulate children’s imagination, encourage their creativity and open up new perspectives on portraiture. Children are welcome to visit the Picasso en visite exhibition and create their own portraits.
