We invite you on Saturday, March 21, at 17:00 to the closing event of Retinal Vertigo, the first major solo show in ROmania of artist Radu Oreian.
The event will take place in the presence of the artist, who will lead a guided tour of the exhibition followed by a conversation about the works together with British curator Jane Neal.
Jane Neal is widely recognized as one of the leading independent curators working in the field of contemporary painting and the Eastern European art scene, notably Romania. She has been described by ARTINFO and The Financial Times as one of the most knowledgeable curators in painting today.
Neal has curated exhibitions internationally, including in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, New York, Paris, Dubai and Mumbai. In 2006 she curated the seminal exhibition “Cluj Connection” at Haunch of Venison, Zurich, which brought international attention to a generation of artists from Transylvania including Adrian Ghenie, Victor Man, Ciprian Mureșan and Șerban Savu.
“Retinal Vertigo” marks Radu Oreian’s first large-scale solo exhibition in Romania and brings together paintings and drawings produced in the last decade.
