The exhibitions bring together two distinct artistic practices around shared directions. Nona Inescu’s project explores the relationship between body and environment from a posthuman perspective, through sculptures and in-situ interventions. In parallel, Oláh Gyárfás investigates the relationships between nature, materiality, and imagination, using natural materials such as hemp, hay, and wood.

About the artists

Nona Inescu (b. 1991) lives and works between Athens and Bucharest. Her practice includes photography, installation, sculpture, and video, and investigates the relationship between body and environment.

Oláh Gyárfás (b. 1975, Tușnad) is an artist and designer whose practice explores the intersection of fashion, ecology, and sculpture, working with natural materials such as hemp and straw.

The exhibitions can be visited between April 17 – June 6, 2026, from Thursday to Saturday, between 12:00 – 18:00.

The exhibitions and public program are part of the project “Three-Headed Plants”, co-funded by AFCN and supported by the strategic partnership with Banca Transilvania, by Catena – exhibition partner, Ploom – event partner, and ISHO. The project is carried out in partnership with UVT Arte, UVT FLIFT, Catinca Tăbăcaru Gallery, and Sector 1 Gallery.
