Once a factory and nursery, the building now houses the headquarters of the Art Encounters Foundation. As such, the space carries echoes of creation and nurturing – of hands shaping materials through labor and hands protecting the fragile beginnings of life. In the context of the biennale, this duality surfaces through themes of love and caring, trust and closeness, resilience and belonging.
