Alexandra-Daniela Satmari (b. 1 December 1997) graduated from the Faculty of Art and Design at the West University of Timișoara, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Sculpture. She now works in Timișoara and Arad, where she is continuing her research studies as a PhD student. Her artistic practice is situated at the intersection of sculpture and drawing and is inspired by the memories she has from the time spent in her father’s dyeing workshop. The artist was attracted by the imperfect and spontaneous character of bent metal and used it in her works. By combining ready-made materials, metal plaques, or artificial fur, the forms become fluid and evolve.
