The Public Events proposed by the Art Encounters Foundation throughout its permanent program and the editions of the Biennial focus on the concern for the possible types of encounters enabled by the local artistic production. The ArtistsTalks are essential for a more profound understanding of the invited artists, of their perspective, and of the tools they employ. The Artist’s Book Launch events create the opportunity for a dialogue between artists and art critics, editors and curators, aiming to contextualize the emergence of the artist book in the broader context of artistic creation. Film screenings and all the other public events reinforce the constant dialogue with the local cultural scene and engage both a wider audience and the young artists, students and high schoolers.
