Thursday, 5 August, at 5 PM, you are invited to a presentation by artist Sven-Julien Kanclerski.
Sven-Julien is the winner of the open call for a four-week artistic residency organised by Niki Residency Hannover in collaboration with Art Encounters Foundation. This is the first edition of an international artistic residency exchange for artists based in Hannover.
The purpose of the residency program is to encourage the exploration of experimental practices, to support the production of new works, to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to establish a meaningful dialogue between communities and cultural actors from different fields and cultural spaces.
As part of the event, Sven will present the project that he has created during the residency, as well as a selection of his pre-existent works.
This event is part of the “Art in Action” cultural project, which has been co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
