Friday, 25 March, between 11 AM and 1 PM, you are invited to a guided tour and brunch with artists Andrei Arion, Csilla Bartus, Dan Beudean, Ole Blank, Floriama Cândea, Norbert Filep, Camilia Filipov and Lucia Ghegu. The exhibition curators, Diana Marincu and Ciprian Mureșan, will also be present. The artists will talk about the works presented in the exhibition “At the edge of the world”, as well as about their artistic practice. The meeting will take place at Art Encounters Foundation, 46C Take Ionescu Blvd. (ISHO House), Timișoara.
“At the edge of the world” aims to render the creative laboratory of the participating artists, visible in drawings and sketches, by analyzing the boundary between the real and fictional worlds that every one of us inhabits. Starting from the medium of drawing as a conceptual tool through which unknown areas are explored and a visual universe is redefined, the exhibition gives shape to a state of uncertainty and unease, two feelings that are inevitable today. Co-curated by Diana Marincu & Ciprian Mureșan, the exhibition includes works by Andrei Arion, Csilla Bartus, Dan Beudean, Ole Blank, Floriama Cândea, Eduard Constantin, Norbert Filep, Camilia Filipov, Lucia Ghegu, Alexandra Mereuți & Sebastian Danciu, Alexandra Satmari and Lucía Simón Medina and will be open between 24 March and 29 May 2022.
