La Kunsthalle Mulhouse, centre d’art contemporain
As part of the France – Romania Season, the Contemporary Art Centre La Kunsthalle Mulhouse, together with the Art Encounters Foundation Timișoara presents: La Brique, The Brick, Caramida, an exhibition of modern and contemporary art. La Brique, The Brick, Cărămida, curated by Ami Barak, brings forward a dynamic and creative artistic scene, from the beginning of the XXth century until now: from Constantin Brâncuși, Andrei Cădere, Ana Lupaș, Geta Brătescu and Ion Grigorescu to Adrian Ghenie, Victor Man, Ciprian Mureșan or Dan Perjovschi, along with a new generation that hasn’t been assimilated yet outside the national borders, this exhibition unites an exquisite collection that deserves to be discovered. Shortly: 43 Romanian artists, 54 artworks, and two commissions especially created for the exhibition in Mulhouse signed by Pusha Petrov and Alex Mirutziu.
